Haha appreciate it. I would love to be a long term Tesla owner, but the stock doesn’t allow for that in my portfolio. It’s so volatile it feels like my thesis doesn’t play out in reality but does in market cap appreciation. So I just book the win understanding it’s impossible to perfectly nail the timing.
The more I look at PYPL at these prices I can’t help but feel they warrant a position.
Mature business at this point, -5% annualized reduction in shares past 3yrs, 8.5% fcf yield, 14.5% 5yr EPS growth.
You basically just have to believe their business won’t go away & you’re getting at 10% grower with a 3-5% buyback yield from here, reminds me of an early 2000s AZO setup.
I think Alex Chriss is a strong CEO. I believed he could right the ship, as much as I understood the business. I think he’s doing it. shouldn’t have sold PayPal in hindsight, but I keep my eye on it
Also, your ability to trade TSLA with 10% of your portfolio is phenomenal.
Your research is pretty great, but honestly I’m coming back for what I can learn from your nimbleness & actions!
